Old Bacardi posters

A set of 1980's posters to advertise the white rum bacardi inspired by MadMan. what particularly caught my eye about these posters where the old, de saturated, muted colors used and the authenticty created by this. Obviously at the time the style of these posters were in fashion and contemperorty however in our modern day design industry they look tarnish - however still eye grabbing.

This is an effect which i would like to incorporate into the current brief for which i am working on. A photomontage of cut out, college images and simple bold text overlaying t barcadi he piece. Makingbaracdi look mature and well established.
