Luke Best

I have blogged Best's work much earlier but he is a classic and one of the designer who i took my earlier influences from. His work goes back to basics, using coloring pencils and crayons to produce his illustrations. He uses a rough, sketchy style but it evident they are well thought out prior.

what caught my eye was his type face which he created for the brik brac music record label using geometric hand cut out elements. Its lovely and combines both image and his iconic style with type.
